Installing Spybot S&D

1. Go to http://www.spybot.info/.
2. Click "Download" from the left-hand menu.
3. Scroll down and click the "SpyBot – Search & Destroy" link.
4. Choose the "Download.com" mirror, by clicking “Download Here” next to the name "Download.com". (It should be the third "Download Here" button down the list. You should download the file to your desktop, unless you have a better place to put it.)
5. Once the file is downloaded, double click the file on your desktop. (It will start with "spybotsd". Also, you may disconnect your Internet connection at this point.)
6. Follow the install instructions. Accept all default options. You may need to restart your computer.

Make sure you run SpyBot S&D every week to every month to keep your system up and running fast.

Once you have removed your current anti-spyware program, you can download and install SpyBot S&D.
